My car is a 1958 Nobel 200, 2 door saloon, chassis n°17 ( 3R0017 ) and registration WXR 20. I beleive I am the 5th owner from new. the car has some nice history, and is now being restored. The history goes as following:
The car was owned by a boy of 12 years old, bought by his uncle. He learnt mechanics with it and played with it. He owned it for 21 years, but then got interested in Messerschmitts, and decided to sell the Nobel to fund the restoration on his Messerschmitt. The car was in bad shape when he sold it, and you can see some pictures of it when it was sold. A few owners after, my Dad got hold of it, had it for about 5 years, but left it in the back of the barn, without touching it. I must have been about 6 when he gave it to me, but I don't remember exactly. It was quite funny the way my dad gave it to me, I needed a hair-cut, and refused. My dad said that I needed it, so just as a joke, i said " Only if you give me the Nobel ! ", and to my suprise, he said " Ok, if you have a hair-cut ". That is how I got hold of my car!
I will update whenever I get more info on the history.
